Father of The Bride Suffers Heart Attack Morning of the Wedding | Briar Barn Inn MA Wedding

After all of the disappointments from a postponed wedding due to the pandemic, tragedy struck the morning of Alesha and Bruce’s wedding day. The morning of the wedding, Alesha’s father had all the signs of an early onset heart attack and was rushed to Beverly Hospital where he was admitted. Without knowing if the father of the bride would be able to attend, a plan was set in motion by the attending nurse and the bride herself, to bring the ceremony to her father at the hospital. While the day did not go according to plan, it was nothing short of amazing and included two beautiful ceremonies one in the courtyard of Beverly Hospital and the other at the amazing Briar Barn Inn in Rowley, MA. Months of planning and shopping for vintage vases for leafy greens and beautiful florals did not go unnoticed and neither did the presence of their beloved fur baby, Jacoby. Alesha and Bruce handled every challenge thrown at them with such poise and composure all while being put under an immense amount of stress and uncertainty. 

The love Alesha and Bruce have for one another is undeniable and the sense of calm and control they exhibit when they are together is contagious. No one plans for the unthinkable on their wedding day, but having the right attitude, bridal party, and the right team of vendors 😉 makes all the difference. Their ability to adapt and overcome in such stressful circumstances will serve them unbelievably well in their lives together as husband and wife. We wish you all the best in this new adventure together, but we have a feeling you two can handle anything this life throws your way!
