Like countless other 2020 couples, Ellie and Alex, had to reimagine their wedding day because of COVID-19. While it may not have been the huge, relaxed bash with a 10-piece band and all their friends, they had a beautiful intimate backyard wedding nestled in the Berkshires with their families. Their friends may not have been able to attend in person, but Ellie and Alex made sure to include everyone by live-streaming their ceremony.

September 6, 2020, was an absolutely stunning day to say “I do” there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and fall foliage was beginning to sprinkle the trees. All the details made for an unforgettable backdrop to an already perfect day. Ellie’s flowers were gorgeous and what made them even more special was that her aunt was the florist (@redfirefarm), the cake was definitely a show stopper (@ninecakes), and how awesome is it that their first dance was on their very own living room rug! There is something unbelievably special about an intimate wedding and while we want nothing more than for COVID to go away we definitely want the intimate ceremony to stay.
